Is SubmittalLink an alternative to Procore?

How do I sign in to SubmittalLink?
Section titled “How do I sign in to SubmittalLink?”Enter your email at app.submittallink.com and use the one-time login code sent to your inbox, or sign in with Google or Microsoft. There are no passwords. See Sign in.
Who can create submittals?
Section titled “Who can create submittals?”Only the project owner and project managers. Other roles view submittals and respond when they’re on a review step. See Create a submittal.
Who can create RFIs?
Section titled “Who can create RFIs?”The project owner, project managers, and field users. See Create an RFI.
What does ball in court mean in SubmittalLink?
Section titled “What does ball in court mean in SubmittalLink?”Ball in court is the person or people responsible for the next action on a submittal, RFI, or task. Your Home dashboard lists everything in your court. See Review workflow and ball in court.
Do all reviewers on a submittal step need to respond?
Section titled “Do all reviewers on a submittal step need to respond?”No. On submittals, one response from any reviewer on a step completes the step and moves it to the next. Put reviewers on separate steps if each must respond.
What’s the difference between parallel and sequential RFIs?
Section titled “What’s the difference between parallel and sequential RFIs?”Parallel RFIs go to all assignees at once. Sequential RFIs move through ordered review steps. Parallel is the default. See Parallel vs. sequential RFI workflow.
Do architects and engineers need a password to respond?
Section titled “Do architects and engineers need a password to respond?”No. SubmittalLink doesn’t use passwords. Once invited to the project, they sign in with a one-time login code sent to their email, or with Google or Microsoft.
Who gets submittal emails?
Section titled “Who gets submittal emails?”By default, all reviewers on all steps, the submittal manager, the Cc list, and the Received From contact. The owner can limit emails to the current ball-in-court reviewers. See Submittal email notifications.
Can I stop reminder emails on weekends?
Section titled “Can I stop reminder emails on weekends?”Yes. The project owner can turn on Do Not Send Reminder Emails on Weekends.
Can SubmittalLink split a PDF plan set into individual sheets?
Section titled “Can SubmittalLink split a PDF plan set into individual sheets?”Yes. AI Bulk Upload splits multi-page PDF plan sets into individual sheets and reads each title block to fill in the drawing number, title, and revision details. See Upload drawings.
Can I open Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 schedules?
Section titled “Can I open Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 schedules?”Yes. Upload an .mpp or .xer file to Schedule to view it as a Gantt chart with the critical path. See Schedule.
Does SubmittalLink track no-cost time extensions?
Section titled “Does SubmittalLink track no-cost time extensions?”Yes. Turn on Time Change Orders to add Days to change orders and Duration to contracts. See Time extensions.
Can I import my existing submittal log?
Section titled “Can I import my existing submittal log?”Yes. The SubmittalLink team can bulk-upload your submittal log, users, and spec sections, or extract a submittal log from your spec book. See Onboarding services.
Can subcontractors see each other’s submittals?
Section titled “Can subcontractors see each other’s submittals?”By default, yes. Turn on Restrict Vendor Visibility so subcontractors and consultants only see items assigned to them.
How do I export a submittal log or RFI log?
Section titled “How do I export a submittal log or RFI log?”Click Export PDF on the Submittals or RFIs list.
Is there a mobile app?
Section titled “Is there a mobile app?”Yes. SubmittalLink has mobile apps for iOS and Android, and the web app works in mobile browsers.
