Material release tracking
Material release tracking records when approved materials are released for order or fabrication, and estimates when they’ll arrive on site. Use it to spot long-lead items before they delay the job.
Turn on material release tracking
Section titled “Turn on material release tracking”The project owner goes to Settings → project row → pencil menu → Update Project and turns on Track Material Release.
What changes

You enter a lead time in weeks and SubmittalLink shows the estimated delivery date.
Track long-lead items
Section titled “Track long-lead items”- Go to Left menu → Submittals.
- Click Columns and add Released On and Est. Delivery.
- Sort or export the list to review upcoming deliveries.

Section titled “How is the estimated delivery date calculated?”On submittals, it’s the Released On date plus the Estimate Lead Time in weeks.
Why don’t I see Released On on my submittals?
Section titled “Why don’t I see Released On on my submittals?”Track Material Release is off for the project. Only the project owner can turn it on.
